Spyros is a skilled Recorder and Bamboo Pipe performer and teacher. With performances in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Netherlands, Hungary and Greece his recorder repertoire covers a wide range of Renaissance pieces, while he specialises in traditional Greek pipe music with making and performing different types of pipes with or without mouthpiece. He is also a teacher and a member of the Greek Pipers’ Guild. Spyros has already released a collection of arrangements for pipe ensemble of traditional Greek tunes and his future releases involve another set of Greek tunes and a book on learning how to play the traditional Greek pipe without mouthpiece.
